Disneyland Paris – From Sketch to Reality documents how Disney Imagineers designed and built a Disney park specifically for its European setting. The 320-page hardcover combines approximately 500 photographs of the park and its details with 250 Walt Disney Imagineering renderings and concept images.
Disney historian Didier Ghez developed the text from more than 75 interviews with Imagineers involved in creating the resort, making the book particularly valuable for readers interested in how Disney’s concepts progressed from drawings and design decisions into finished attractions and environments. It’s as much a behind-the-scenes Imagineering reference as it is a visual history of Disneyland Paris.
